Job Application Requirements: 

Our job application process contains two phases:

Phase 1:

To be considered for the open Pastor position, all applicants must complete and submit the following materials, all of which are required by the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) denomination:

Please submit these materials to Mrs. Julie Monks, Secretary, Christ Fellowship Church Pastor Search Committee at cfcsearch2018@gmail.com as well as to the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC) headquarters at info@epc.org.  Ordained EPC pastors may forward to Mrs. Monks these documents that are already on file with the EPC.

 (*) The Pastor Search Committee appreciates that prospective applicants may wish that their interest in our open Pastor position remain confidential during the initial phase of the application process.  Therefore, at the discretion of the applicant, the five completed Candidate Reference Forms may be postponed until requested should the candidate be moved to Phase 2 of the application process.

Once the completed initial application materials have been submitted, they will be assigned to a Review Panel.  After reviewing the initial application materials, Mrs. Monks will promptly inform the applicant that he / she (a) is still being considered and moving into Phase 2 of the application process or (b) is no longer being considered.

 

Phase 2:

All candidates moving into Phase 2 of the application process will be asked to provide within three weeks the following Phase 2 application materials.

Please submit all Phase 2 application materials to Mrs. Julie Monks at cfcsearch2018@gmail.com.  If electronic submission of sermon recordings via e-mail is neither practical nor possible, hard copy sermon recordings may be submitted to Mrs. Monks as follows:

For the three Candidate Reference Forms, please select three references who know you well but who are not related to you.  Your references should keep their responses confidential and not share them with the Applicant.  Please provide your three references with the document electronically and have them submit their completed assessment directly to Mrs. Julie Monks at cfcsearch2018@gmail.com

Once the completed Phase 2 application materials have been reviewed, the Mrs. Monks will promptly inform the applicant that he / she (a) is still being considered or (b) is no longer being considered.  A candidate moving forward in the process will be invited by a member of the Review Panel to participate in an initial 90-minute telephone interview

Shortly after the initial interview, the Review Panel will promptly inform the applicant if he / she is (a) moving forward in the process or (b) no longer being considered.  Those candidates moving forward in the process can expect additional interviews by members of the Pastor Search Committee and possibly the Church Session.
