Brian accepted the call to serve CFC as Pastor in July of 2011. He was born and raised in Colorado and became a follower of Jesus in high school through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and has been in vocational ministry since 1987. He has served churches in Lakewood and Dillon, Colorado and in Luzern, Switzerland. For three years he served with World Venture as a history, geography, Bible and guitar teacher at the Black Forest Academy in Kandern, Germany. Brian has particular enthusiasm for organizational leadership, biblical teaching and building relational bridges to the community outside the church. He has been married to Bonnie since 1981, and they have three sons and one daughter.

Carol Joy Evans
Carol Joy ("CJ") Evans came on board as Choir Director in August 2014. She is tasked with bringing the rich tradition of sacred choral music that has encouraged & sustained Believers throughout the centuries to CFC Sunday morning worship. Born in Hobbs, NM, Carol Joy became a follower of Christ in 5th grade through the youth ministry of First Presbyterian Church, Bethlehem, PA. She earned a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, Princeton, NJ, with undergraduate studies in Church Music and conducting, and did professional choral and solo work in New York City for many years until moving to Fort Collins in 2010. Jim accepted the Worship Director position in May 2015. Jim has served as either a pianist and /or worship leader in numerous churches across Northern Colorado. He began his relationship with Christ in college at Campus Crusade for Christ. He brings 50 years of piano experience and strives to bring the family of God into meaningful and personal worship through both traditional hymns and contemporary music. Jim has served as a worship leader on short term missions with World Bible Society in Russia, Horizon International in Zimbabwe, and Friends church in Guatemala. He started the business, Jammin With Jim, in 2011, and plays over 700 concerts a year in senior communities. Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from California State University, Bakersfield. He has resided in Fort Collins for 22 years, has 4 children, 4 grandchildren, and one grandchild on the way.

Emily came on board as the Director of Children’s Ministry in March of 2017. Born in Anaheim, CA and raised here in Fort Collins, Emily became a follower of Christ in her early childhood through the leading of her faithful parents. Emily earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Study from Colorado State University in Fort Collins and has worked at Child Care Centers in Colorado and Montana. Emily and her husband Jeremy have been married since 2011 and have 2 sons, Liam (January, 2013) and Oliver (May, 2015).
